Terrifying Idaho Motorcycle Crash Serves as Public Safety Reminder

The 'Boise Boom' has introduced a level of traffic to our area that many are simply not used to.

Traffic is one thing--irresponsible driving is another.

Then, there is just poor judgement on the roads. Total irresponsibility. Have you ever seen that in the Treasure Valley?

A video shared by the Idaho State Police is 'highlighting' an incident that took place on Interstate 84 just days ago, headed into Boise near the Franklin Road exit. It could have been totally avoided had these motorcycle drivers not been so reckless.

The more you're on the roads, the more it seems like people have 'distractions' -- whether they're doing makeup, texting, calling, or messing with large dash screens. Have you ever seen these distractions lead to a poor merge, a missed red light, or a crash?

While this crash served as a reminder to all about road safety, a 'crash' not long ago that hit the Boise internet had police, and the community, talking for very different reasons...

The crash could have been a real problem for all folks and drivers involved.

While we're happy to hear that the motorcyclist is safe from injury, that rider's selfish and irresponsible behavior put everyone around him in danger. Had someone hit him or worse, killed him going that speed on an interstate, there would have been all sorts of victims involved.
