‘I Hate Them': Fresno State Has Choice Words for Boise Ahead of Game
Boise State has all of the momentum going into this weekend's major football matchup, but the team on the other sideline has some serious opinions about the Broncos and plan to do everything to stop them in their tracks.
Boise State has been on a winning streak over the last few weeks and after enough success, the nation is beginning to take notice.
A loss to start the season at Oregon (the second ranked team in America) was strong enough to count as a sort of moral WIN. The Broncos haven't lost since.
Now on the road and headed to play familiar foe, Fresno State, the Broncos have a LOT of people rooting against them. There's some redemption to be gained, too.
In a recent interview with Fresno media, one player said, when asked about Boise State, that he 'hates them'. There was no sarcasm, either.
The last time these two teams played was in November of last year. The Broncos lost.
In fact, despite Boise State getting the lion share of national media attention over the years, Fresno has defeated Boise 3 of the last 4 times that they've matched up.
With the game now in Fresno and Boise State in the Top 25, the win against Boise State means more than a big rivalry, a milk jug trophy, and bragging rights.
A win could mean that Fresno, who also only has one loss on the season, could waltz right into the spotlight for this year's College Football Playoff conversation.
