There's no denying that it has been a rough start to the season for the Boise State Broncos on the football field. A team and a program that is used to winning, hasn't been doing that this year and the wins that have been achieved, were close calls. That said--and to be fair--some of the losses could have easily been wins, too.

According to head coach Andy Avalos just last week, he knows that the record isn't what the fans or the team wants it to be, but said that the team is realistically just a handful of points away from being 6-1 overall. That isn't a lie.

Incoming to Boise this week? A major foe--the University of Wyoming. While no longer ranked, the team spent some time in the Top 25 already this season and beat the likes of Texas Tech early in the year. On paper, one could assume this is NOT a game that Boise State can afford any mistakes on. Despite all signs pointing to a possible loss for Boise, however, the "gamblers" in Vegas have deemed Boise State a 6-point favorite ahead of the matchup.

Could playing on The Blue be a factor? It's entirely possible.

Kickoff is this Saturday, October 28th, at 3:30 in the afternoon and no word yet on sellout status. Boise State is going to need the stands to be loud to make a difference.
