A shooting reportedly occurred outside DaBaby's Troutman, N.C. home. One man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting at DaBaby's residence was first reported to police on Wednesday (April 13) around 7:45 p.m., according to local Charlotte, N.C. news outlet WCCB Charlotte. According to authorities, the shooting is believed to have happened on a football field on the rapper's property. The victim was believed to be trespassing when he was shot.

The Troutman Police Department have released an official press release on the incident, but did not disclose the name of the victim or the property owner. "On 04/13/2022 at around 1945 hours officers with the Troutman Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 135 Stillwater Road," the press release reads. "Officers arrived on scene where they found one subject suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The subject was transported by Iredell County EMS to a medical facility for treatment. Due to the ongoing and continuing nature of this investigation, no information as to the names of those involved or the circumstances can be released at this time. This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community at large."

No information has been released regarding if DaBaby was at the residence at the time of the shooting or if he shot the man.

XXL has reached out to DaBaby's team and the Troutman Police Department for comment.

DaBaby is currently under investigation for assault in connection with a fight with Brandon Bills, the brother of DaniLeigh, who is the mother of Baby's youngest daughter. Bills is also suing DaBaby for the incident.

As for new music, the North Carolina native released the joint album Better Than You with YoungBoy Never Broke Again in March.
