Cubs First Round Draft Pick Coming To Boise

The Chicago Cubs have signed their first round draft pick, catcher/outfielder Kyle Schwarber, and he will be starting his professional career in Boise.
The Cubs announced his signing of on Wednesday, the No. 4 pick in last week’s draft, and said he will play in the Hawks’ opener Friday against Tri-City at Memorial Stadium.
Reports say the Indiana University product signed a deal with the cubs for $3.125 million.
