Boise State Tops G5 in Directors Cup Competition
This is the second straight year Boise State has topped the Group of Five schools competing in the Division One Learfield-IMG "Sports Directors Cup[" competition!
The results are based on points accumulated on results from all sports combined the last year.
The Broncos totaled 416.75 points to finish 59th overall but tops among the group of 5 (G5) teams not from a power conference.
Boise State received big points from the football team finishing in the top 25, from women's track and field where Allie Ostrander won her third consecutive 3,000 meter Steeplchase National Title, women's basketball winning the regular season and Mountain West Tournament crown and going to the NCAA dance, gymnastics where Boise State won their conference title and softball which made the NCAA Tournament.
