‘We Are One People': Bernie Sanders Fills Idaho Center to Capacity
Thousands of comments flooded the announcement of Bernie Sanders' tour coming to Nampa just a week ago. Some of them very happy to hear the iconic politician would be here. Others saying he wasn't welcome--among other far more rude and immature things.
Sanders didn't let the nay-sayers stop his visit--the 83-year-old Senator from Vermont not only drew a large crowd to his rally--but he packed the Idaho Center TO THE BRIM.
Not long after the event had started, the Ford Idaho Center had shared online that they were at capacity and would not be letting anyone else in for the rally.

Were you in the crowd for Bernie Sanders?
Over 12,000 Idahoans packed the house cheering and chanting for Bernie. Folks from all walks of life and all political parties were in attendance--Bernie, an Independent, has a unique draw.
At one point in his speech, Bernie shouted that he was 'over' this 'Red State, Blue State nonsense!' and continued:
We are ONE PEOPLE!
While Sanders certainly 'ripped' Donald Trump throughout his speech--his message was clear: he is in it for everyone--including the protestors outside of his rally. An air of positivity and acceptance filled the room and people left dancing and singing to music on the overhead speakers.
From Boise, Bernie Sanders is headed to Bakersfield, California.
