A new video has recently taken the internet by storm showing what Boise looked like in the 1940s. The old 1945 videos resurfaced on TikTok and has people who have both lived here forever and people who are new reminiscing on what our city used to look like.
Then more videos from the 1980's has just hit the internet and it shows a bunch of people just hanging out in Downtown Boise on skateboards. Surely, this wouldn't be possible any more due to how busy the city is but how cool is it that this was filmed not that long ago!
Now we see even more video footage of what Boise used to look like and this video is from when Boise Town Square Mall opened up in the 1980s. It's definitely not the same mall that we all know but seeing the amount of people there who were excited for it to open is super cool!
