Popular Boise Burger Spot Bids Farewell After “Recipe Breakdown”

If there is one thing that we know about the Treasure Valley, it's that we absolutely love and adore a locally owned business. Part of what makes our area so special is the huge number of local business that thrives here in the Treasure Valley and people that live here take supporting local, personal.

It's been a really difficult year for local business in Idaho--the economy is in rough shape and both business owners and consumers are feeling it.

We've reported on several local businesses closing down this year--and we're heartbroken to share that yet another local restaurant is closing for good.

Did you make it out to Tim's Burgers in Boise, along the greenbelt? 

The burger hub was known for their condiment cow and amazing location along Boise's river greenbelt! 

In a statement on Instagram, Tim, owner of Tim's Burgers, shared the following:

Unfortunately over the last weekend there has been a breakdown in the recipe for success at Tim’s Burgers.  Due to circumstances out of our control, we’re now closed here on the greenbelt. However, we do have a large appetite to reformulate and serve you again somewhere in the treasure valley. We’ve genuinely enjoyed serving you at Tim’s Burgers and can’t wait to serve you again!

Tim is one of those guys that is always active in the community, looking for ways to help others, and it just so happens he knows how to make some really amazing food, too.

There has been a lot of hype around burger joints as of late, with national chains moving into town and popping up multiple locations. We know that it's the LOCAL burger joints that do it best.
