Is there anything that Boise loves more than new 'foodie' news? These days, it seems not.

The past year has been rough year for a lot of local businesses and unfortunately, a lot of the local spots that had to close their doors for good, for various reasons, were locally owned and operated restaurants.

'You scared me', said one online commenter when a beloved Boise restaurant posted a 'goodbye' message on Facebook...

The restaurant has been featured nationally on The Food Network's beloved Diners, Dives and Drive-In's.

Take a look at the popular spot and find out exactly WHERE this third location will be popping up at!

Just looking at these photos is making us extremely hungry...

Have you ever eaten at Tago's Empanadas and Subs!?

Luckily, the 'goodbye' that Tango's shared isn't the same kind that we're used to.

...After 20 years, tonight at 7:00 pm we say goodbye to our home at 701 N Orchard.
We will be here around 5:00 if you want to come and say goodbye to the home where we have shared sooo many happy memories with you.
Thank you to all of you, from the bottom of our hearts for making this dream possible
we’re excited to welcome you to our new location at 295 N Orchard, across Idaho Youth Ranch, just 3 blocks south.

We reached out to Tango's to see how soon that new location would be open -- just three blocks south.  According to the restaurant, while they prepare the new spot, their TRUCK will be open there, to keep customers happy while they work on the project, inside!!

The restaurant offers a 'taste of Argentina' through their extensive menu that lets customers try out authentic Argentinian empanada flavors -- along with plenty of other options as well, including dessert empanadas, vegetarian empanadas, and subs!

Not long ago, Tango's expanded to their second location, which is located in Meridian, Idaho.

Now, their third location is going to be right near Boise State on Broadway Avenue which is great news for football fans, come tailgate season along with students and those that work in Downtown or Southeast Boise year-round.

You can view the full announcement from 'Mamma Bremmer' via the Tango's

We can't wait to see when Tango's will officially be opening in the space and will keep you updated!

Idaho Restaurant Recipes Featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives

Guy Fieri's visited Idaho quite a few times and during his travels, the chefs that he met shared these recipes with him. Some are for restaurants that closed after being on the show. Talk about culinary nostalgia! Many of these places are still open, but if you want to see if you can do as well at home, have at it!
