The Secret Behind ‘Huge Flames’ at Boise’s Post Malone Concert
Post Malone in Boise? It wouldn't be the first time.
This past fall, towards of the end of 2024, Post Malone made several appearances in and around the Treasure Valley and fans couldn't get enough of him. Of course, we had all just learned that he was indeed on his way to Boise this summer for a major stadium concert, on the blue turf, for the first time ever.
That show that over 36,000 people attended? It just wrapped up and days later, people can't stop talking about it.
Of all images going up--and there are a ton--the most popular are those that include flames shooting up into the Boise sky.

It's a bit of a trip looking at Albertson's Stadium and seeing flames like that shoot out of it! Luckily, it was all on purpose!
It would be foolish to assume that the set up behind those flames was 'easy'. That much pyro requires a lot of safety and today, we got an exclusive look at the 'flames' from another angle: the folks that kept everyone safe.
A team of Deputies and the Idaho State Fire Marshal were on hand to insure the safety of some 37,000 concert goers at Albertsons Stadium last night for the Post Malone/Jelly Roll concert. The team spent the entire day inspecting food trucks, egress integrity, emergency apparatus access, flame effects, pyrotechnics and insuring crowd managers have detailed information and instructions if an emergency were to occur. Because of BSU’s commitment to safety and hard work in preparation for this concert and cooperation of Anderson Construction Company, who is responsible for the North Endzone project, concert goers were able to safely exit the stadium in 20 minutes at the conclusion of the concert.
That is some pretty cool insight into what so many will be talking about--for years.
