Idaho Chain To Serve Free Sandwiches—But Only If You’re ‘Mike’

Do you have anyone in your life named Mike? It's time to make them your best friend!

One popular sandwich chain here in the Treasure Valley is participating in a nationwide promotion that is a bit of a jab, but a whole lot of fun...for some.

Have you ever eaten at Firehouse Subs? The chain has two locations in the Treasure Valley-- on in Meridian near The Village at Meridian and another in Boise, on Milwaukee not far from the mall.

In a creative kind of way to 'jab' at a competitor, Firehouse is giving out free sandwiches..sort of.

Are you aware of any sandwich chains that have 'Mike' in the name? We can think of a big one...and Firehouse is getting real entertaining with this free sandwich giveaway.

On Wednesday, May 6th, if your name is Mike or any variation of that, you're entitled to a totally FREE Steak & Cheese melt sandwich!

What names are like Mike? How about Michael, Mikey, Miguel, Mikaela, Michelle, Michele, Michaela...you get the point.
