Major Drug Bust Near Idaho Border Finds Meth, 60,000 Fentanyl Pills
We've very lucky, in the Treasure Valley, to live in a place as safe as we do. Here, we look out for one another and our law enforcement keeps us safe. It's also safe to say that throughout our state, our safety and neighborly attributes apply as well.
Of course, just because we're Idaho doesn't make us immune to crime--or to folks who bring crime here. We're thankful that law enforcement in Spokane, Washington, just minutes away from Idaho, was able to make a major drug bust over the weekend.

That is a lot of cash and drugs. We're glad this is off of the streets.
Three men are facing federal drug charges after this discovery--as authorities had been watching the men and recognized the vehicle that they were driving.
In a statement to the public concerning the huge amount of fentanyl, U.S. Attorney Vanessa Waldref said:
The fentanyl epidemic is taking lives at an unprecedented pace. My office is committed to working with our with our law enforcement partners to remove large quantities of deadly drugs from the streets and to disrupt drug networks.
We're thankful that law enforcement was on the case here, taking these dangerous drugs off of the streets in the Pacific Northwest, just minutes from Idaho.
