Idaho has been going through a lot of changes in the recent years and a lot of them have been great. Between local businesses still booming and new stores and restaurants moving to Idaho it has been a whole lot of new new new. Maybe that’s one of the reasons why Boise ranked so high on the list of the best places to retire in America.

Last year Boise was one of the best cities in the entire country to retire in. In fact it had even broken the top 10 list of cities for people to retire in.

There are a whole lot of things that can lead to Boise being so high on the list and a lot of it has to do with the people of Boise. There’s so much to do just all within an hour of the city. Whether it’s floating the Boise River in the summer, skiing and snowboarding in Bogus Basin in the winter, hiking Table Rock in the spring, or visiting the pumpkin patch in fall, Boise has activities year round for everyone of every age to enjoy. And what's even cooler is that everyone is acknowledging how awesome Boise is!

Sadly, Boise fell quite a few spots from where it was last year. Boise is now considered in the top 20 for best places to retire in rather than the top 10. We were quite sad to see that it had fallen from it's spot last year.

Check out the details here and where it is ranked this year below:
