
Idaho Man Arrested After Mailing A Letter
There are few things more wholesome than mailing someone a letter. Just something about signing your name, licking the envelope, and placing it in the mailbox as it awaits its destination.
It's cute, right? Cute until you're making threats in said letter. You can probably see where this is going.
Mailing a letter in Idaho is not illegal. Why did this man get arrested?

A 34-year-old Kootenai County man has been sentenced to five years in jail after simply sending a letter in the mail. The problem is, the letter included a threat sent to Idaho Governor Brad Little, concerning a North Idaho Judge.
For the record, you very much cannot threaten someone in a letter through the mail. Notice how the dude landed himself in jail? That's what happens man. That's what happens.
