Four Boise-Area Schools Are Closing In on Idaho State Titles
Football is in the air, Treasure Valley, and fans are loving every second of it.
Well-- most of them are anyway.
On the national front--Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are engaged but the Chiefs really can't figure out how to win like they once did.
On the collegiate front, for the first time in many years, Boise State football is struggling--with 4 losses on the season, any hopes of College Football Playoff appearance are now in the gutter. Unlike last year, when the Broncos had a star running back that was among the nation's favorites to win the Heisman Trophy.
Take it down one more tier? Some of Idaho's own best football players are leaving it all on the field for a state championship!
This weekend, teams across the state will be battling it out for a State Championship.
The Treasure Valley is represented well with a total of FOUR local schools playing in their division's respective title games.
6A: Timberline takes on Rigby
5A: Bishop Kelly takes on Hillcrest
4A: Homedale Takes on Kimberly
3A: Nampa Christian takes on Ririe
Which team will you be rooting for during the Idaho State football tournament?
With so many great local athletes here in the Treasure Valley, we know that all of these teams are going to be competing and leaving it on the field for a state title.
We love our local athletes that will someday, playing at a higher level. Looking to watch some football this week? How about supporting a local high school!
