Dead Body Discovered In Idaho Walmart Parking Lot

When you pull up to your local Walmart, you can always expect to see a few things:

• An elderly person blocking an entire lane in the parking lot while they wait for that front spot
• Kids on their phones darting in front of cars without even looking
• A couple arguing about who forgot to get the eggs (Spoiler: It was him)

What you don't expect to see is a dead body. If you did expect to see that, we have several questions. Anyways...

Why was there a dead person discovered in a Walmart parking lot?

On Tuesday, May 27th, police in Chubbuck received a call about an unresponsive person in a vehicle parked in a Walmart parking lot. Sadly, EMTs confirmed soon after arrival that the 36-year-old man had indeed passed away inside their Jeep Cherokee.

First responders on the scene believe the man may have been transient. There was also some drug paraphernalia discovered in the vehicle. We're awaiting further details on that.

The investigation is ongoing, with an autopsy being arranged through the Bannock County Coroner's office.
