Boise State Football Player Is Now A Finalist For Major Award
Boise State Football has had a whirlwind of a year. There is no other way to describe how cool it has been to watch Boise State play this year. Of course a lot of this had to do with none other than Ashton Jeanty. He played a major role in Boise State winning game after game. He even was nominated (and almost won) The Heisman Trophy.
Ashton Jeanty has certainly made a name for himself at this school but there is no "I" in "team". Another Boise State superstar has been recognized nationally for his work in contributing to Boise State's extremely successful season. Ahmed Hassanein, who plays defensive end for Boise State, has been nominated for Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award.

Earlier this month 20 semifinalists from all over the country were nominated for this award and now this week it has been announced that Ahmed Hassanein is one of the 3 semi-finalists to actually come home with the award.
To win Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award the college football player must prove that not only are they a great football player but also demonstrate their leadership through courage, integrity, and sportsmanship. Ahmed Hassanein has had to show all of these traits both on and off the field and it's amazing to see yet another Boise State football player getting the recognition they deserve.
The winner of this award will be announced on February 12, 2025, at a ceremony in Arlington, Texas. Congratulations and good luck to Ahmed Hassanein!
