Please Don’t Leave: Does Boise State Football Have a Fan Problem?

Football season continues for Boise State and this week, they're back on the blue turf to take on a very familiar foe: University of Nevada Las Vegas--also known as UNLV.

Last time UNLV was on the blue turf? The Broncos won, punched their ticket into the college football playoff, and fans stormed the field, ripping down the field goal posts. Certainly, UNLV hasn't forgotten about that.

The last time the Broncos were on the blue turf? A week ago, neck-and-neck against New Mexico--and no field was stormed. In fact, a large number of fans didn't even stick around to see how it ended.

Boise State's fanbase seemed to bail with no interest beyond halftime.

Big yikes-- that feels like a fourth of the stadium!?   Now, after the game, leadership including head coach Spencer Danielson commented on the 'exodus':    

So, take it from coach--the 'plea' is real with Boise State fans.

It's probably the biggest home game of the year and the weather is looking perfect--hang on to those seats and stay a while!
