It's back! The much-anticipated Boise River Float Season, a joint effort by Ada County Parks and Waterways, Boise Parks and Recreation, and Boise Fire, is finally here.

If you have never had the opportunity to float the Boise River, it might be hard to call yourself an actual citizen of the Treasure Valley. The iconic ride down the scenic river is Boise's favorite summer pastime. The fun and exciting six-mile journey takes two to three hours to complete.

Beginning at Barber Park, where you leave your car and can rent a raft, the float ends at Ann Morrison Park. There are shuttles to drive you back to your vehicle at Barber Park once you finish.
