OMG! You Won’t Believe The Suburb In Idaho Named Best In U.S.
The Best Suburbs to Live in 2025
For some, this may come as a shocker, and for others, they knew it all along. Don't jump to conclusions because it's not Boise, Meridian, or Nampa. Ranked 4th on a list of the best U.S. suburbs to live in for 2025, it stands out in several key areas that could make it very appealing for families, professionals, and, well, anyone.
Affordability Meets Quality of Life
Now, this comes from a study that was done. You see the headline, and I'm sure you're already laughing, but Garden City has a median rent of just $1,132, and it is the second-lowest among the top 10. Again, you're probably laughing after finding out that Garden City is one of the top suburbs in the U.S. for 2025. I personally love Garden City and wish my wife and I would have bought a house there.
Enjoy 209 Days of Sunshine
This isn't a shocker for most, but Garden City gets an average of 209 sunny days a year, along with the rest of the Treasure Valley. It's one of the sunniest locations in the top ranking. The weather creates opportunities to enjoy the Greenbelt, the wineries, breweries, and the Whitewater Park.
Short and Easy Commute Times
Yes, we all know Chinden in Garden City is one of the worst, but according to the study, the average commute time is 20.2 minutes. It is also in a great location near Boise; you can easily get to Eagle, Star, and Meridian by jumping on the freeway.
Addressing the Crime Rate
Stop, and don't overthink it. The crime rate isn't bad in Garden City, but the numbers are skewed because of the small population. Garden City is my jam, and I'm finally stoked to see it get recognition.
