Recently, Idaho News shared that Idaho Power proposed a rate reduction that could decrease our power bills by around $6.36 a month. Now, it might not sound like a lot but six bucks is six bucks! It might not get you a dozen eggs right now, but after a few months it might.

Idaho News says that the $6.36 decrease is based on "a typical residential customer using 950 kilowatt-hours per month."
