The amount of work and sacrifice our first responders put in will never cease to amaze us. Recently, Boise Fire shared an amazing post highlighting the harsh conditions they walk into to keep us safe.

It's terrifying, fascinating, and further reinforces that we should thank our first responders whenever we get the chance.

Boise Firefighters Risk Their Lives To Save Ours

In a post shared to social media, the Boise Fire Department shared that they responded to a structure fire on Sunday morning (4/13) at the 5900 block of W. Ellens Ferry Drive.

"Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy fire conditions with flames visible from the roof of a two-story, four-plex residential building," Boise Fire Department said. "First responding units upgraded the response to a second alarm."

The body cam footage Boise Fire released with the video is the stuff of absolute nightmares... at least to us. For our heroes at the department, it looks like another day at the office.

In it, we see firefighters attacking the fire while showing no fear. At one point, firefighters take out part of a ceiling to reach the fire only to have embers and debris raining on them like a storm out of hell.
